Vigilance Campaign
At the core of our COVID-19 vigilance campaign, CAS Home Health Care is dedicated to the health of our community and will do everything we can to help stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and its variants and provide support to the communities we serve. We will stay vigilant by doing the following:
- We are working diligently to stay updated on news and guidance on stopping the spread of the virus.
- When recommended or mandated by the city or state, everyone entering the premises of our office will be required to wear a face mask and have their temperature taken. Individuals without a face mask will be provided with one. Individuals with unusual temperatures will be recommended to stay home and get tested for COVID-19.
- To ensure proper social distancing, we wish to limit the number of people in our lobby at a given time and ask that everyone call ahead or make an appointment prior to visiting our office.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Sanitation Commitment
Our organization takes the safety of its patients and employees seriously. Since the start of the pandemic, we have supplied our working professionals and our patients with masks and gloves and have fully implemented CDC-mandated social distancing requirements and sanitation practices. CAS personnel are trained on COVID-19 related social and health maintenance practices and we administer and monitor temperature checks for all office employees.
Pre-COVID Testing Kit (Medical Equipment) & Access to COVID-19 Test
CAS Home Health Care takes extra steps to ensure the safety of its patients by providing them with their very own at-home Pre-COVID Test Kit. Our kit is a preventative measure that enables recipients to continuously assess and monitor their vitals and health.
Inside the kit:
- Thermometer – measures body temperature
- Pulse oximeter – measures oxygen levels in the blood
- Hand sanitizer – disinfects hands of bacteria and germs
- List of testing sites – an extensive list of Philadelphia sites that administer COVID-19 tests
- Masks & gloves – personal protection equipment to shield against the spread of COVID
